Do It Better has partnered with Veolia UK&I on a number of occasions to support internal events and extrernal marketing campaigns, both with Veolia products & Local Councils.
The Challenge:
Veolia is a multi-billion pound, transnational company with very strict brand guidelines to adhere to. We worked to understand their brand deeply before implementing any new visual elements. This meant liasing with “Group”, Veolia’s main branding department in Paris, to always ensure we were on the right track in regards to their brand vision.
Due to the size of the company, we worked accross many different teams, from Sustainability; to Marketing, to outside specialists, which meant maintaining great communication lines between all parties to stay on-track and on-budget, something that we excel at.

Pro-Grow Rockdust
Prow-Grow Rockdust is a new product being introduced to the existing Pro-Grow range, which is a company owned by Veolia.
We worked with Pro-Grow over several months, creating the branding for their new Rockdust 10kg & 5kg bags, and 500g tubes, as well as branded signage, sample pouches and PR images which were displayed and handed out at the Four Oaks Trade Show.

Municipal Connect Conference 2024
A new internal municipal event in 2024 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This was a large scale event which Do It Better led from a design perspective, which involved multiple stakeholders from Director-level to Area Managers. We visited the venue with members of our Design & Events team, and established the plans for the branding itself, utilising the many screens available.
From there, we further developed the core event visuals, producing; multiple digital screens displayed throughout the event, animated motion graphic for the large 234-square-meter reception screen, wristbands, A5 table cards, desk & lectern graphics, and printed seating plans.

HR “Energise” Conference
A new internal hr event in 2024 at the Hilton Birmingham Conference Centre. This project, whilst only an internal event, required us to undertake a very quick ideation phase due to delays outside of our teams’ control, which ended with us needing to create and present the core event visuals within a single day. The stakeholder was looking for an idea that conveyed energy and lightning, but also wanted to include some illustrated flowers which were used in a previous event to signify growth.
This was then refined the following week alongside the final event collateral (Branded Google Slides, digital & A3 Venue Map, A2 portrait worksheets, fabric lanyard and lanyard cards). This also required communicating with our established printers’ to source quotes and ensure collateral was delivered on time.

Nottinghamshire Increased Capture Campaign
Do It Better worked with Nottinghamshire Council on behalf of Veolia, on a campaign to encourage residents to recycle the correct materials more often. This was displayed as advertisements at bus stops, as well as on social media.
We created several examples for stakeholders however the project was pulled due to funding issues.

“Resource the Future” ETS 2024 Report
The UK ETS is a cap-and-trade system that sets a limit on emissions from particular carbon intensive industries. To discuss current regulations and the potential impact on businesses, we were tasked with creating the “Resource the Future” ETS Report on behalf of Veolia.
